The International League Against Rheumatism has recently reincorporated as the International League of Associations for Rheumatology with a more focused mission to advance rheumatology in developing countries. The new ILAR's Executive Committee consists of the Presidents and Presidents-Elect of ACR, AFLAR, APLAR, EULAR, and PANLAR. The collaboration of the leaders of these international organizations has resulted in a renewed commitment to support programs that lead to progress in the practice and education of rheumatology in countries where there is an exceptional need.
Request for 2014 Proposals – NOW OPEN
ILAR welcomes project proposals or requests for ILAR's contribution to projects between the amounts of $5,000 and $25,000 US dollars. For 2015 ILAR will award at least $150,000 US dollars for projects that clearly demonstrate that they address ILAR's mission to advance rheumatology in developing countries in the areas of education including population health and clinical practice.
